| starting celexa |

yesterday was my first day taking celexa. it will hopefully eventually help treat my anxiety & depression. i'm supposed to also be seeing a therapist and learning relaxation techniques. i'm taking 10mg for the first week, then upping to 20mg. honestly felt a bit giggly and irritable yesterday, but perhaps it was just a normal mood fluctuation. taking my second pill now.
hopefully i won't have to take these for too long. i'm concerned about the side effects. but i'm at the end of my rope and have tried everything else, so medication seems to be my last option. i'll need to be on this for a few months until i can make positive changes to my lifestyle and start taking better care of myself. i hope there won't be many detrimental effects.
